Paul is certified by The State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization as an Appellate Law Specialist — a certification held by only 1 out of 1,000 active California attorneys. He consistently wins appeals for his clients throughout the state.

Paul clerked for Judge Carlos Bea on the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. Paul then litigated at Munger, Tolles & Olson, LLP, which included preparing primary and amicus briefs in state and federal appeals.

Before clerking, Paul graduated in the top 2 percent from Northwestern University Law School. He served as a Senior Articles Editor on law review, and was elected to the Order of the Coif.

Paul obtained his bachelor's degree in Business Administration from UC Berkeley, where he was a Regents', Alumni, and Dean's Scholar.

When he's not helping his clients, Paul enjoys international travel. Nearer home, Paul and his wife Nima often hike in the Bay Area.
